Two product lines, your choice of deployment

Every edition of RediDraft™ carries the same commitment: your language, your documents, everything included. Two product lines, one price for your whole firm: RediDraft™ Classic, the proven client-server platform, modernized, and RediDraft™ One, the next-generation platform in three editions.

RediDraft™ Classic

Arriving August 2026

The client-server platform firms have trusted since 2010, rebuilt with a modernized interface and a dramatically better experience. A first-class product, maintained for as long as firms are using it.

The desktop client, perfected

Classic pairs a familiar desktop workflow with over a decade of production hardening. It's built around Microsoft Word on Windows: Form Volumes are authored in Word, and finished drafts open in Word, ready for review. Drafts are assembled on your machines, with your libraries in RediDraft Cloud or on a server you host, and variable data never leaves your desk. Existing firms upgrade with nothing to migrate and nothing to relearn; new customers are welcome to start here. And there is never any pressure to move to One: if Classic suits your needs, it's yours for as long as you want it.

RediDraft™ One

Arriving October 2026

One engine, three editions, from a single desktop to a firm-wide deployment with nothing to install on individual workstations. One is completely word processor agnostic, with its own built-in Form Volume editor. The web editions run on any operating system with a modern browser, and every one of them also accepts the native desktop client for Windows or macOS, so each person chooses the browser or a real application without the firm choosing for them. In daily production use since 2024 and refined with early customers, One becomes generally available in October 2026.

Why the web editions matter

With Private Web and SaaS Web, there is nothing to install on individual workstations. Update the server and everyone has the new version on their next refresh. No rollouts, no version drift, no machine left behind.

And you still don't have to give up the desktop

Choosing a web edition used to mean choosing the browser. It doesn't any more. The RediDraft™ One desktop client, for Windows or macOS, can sign in to a Private Web server or to SaaS Web and work against exactly the same shared libraries a browser user sees. It's the same installer as the Single User Desktop edition; connecting to a server is simply a choice made inside the application.

That makes the client a per-person decision instead of a firm-wide one. The attorney who wants a native application and the paralegal who is happy in a browser tab can work side by side on the same matter, out of the same library, with the same permissions. And it carries two things a browser can't: documents assembled on your own workstation, so client answers never travel to the server, and pinned libraries you can read and assemble from with no network at all.

The desktop client is included with every seat on both web editions. There is no premium tier here.

Upgrading is simple, and it always has been

Since the earliest days of FastDraft, we've guaranteed that moving from one generation to the next is simple and easy. RediDraft™ One keeps that promise: export your library from Classic, import it into One, and you're done. That's the whole conversion.

Worth knowing up front: RediDraft One is built on an entirely new data model, so the move is one-way; libraries can't be converted back from One to Classic. Take the step if and when One is right for you. It will never be required, and Classic is maintained for as long as firms are using it, so staying on it is a choice we fully stand behind.

Not sure which edition fits? We'll help you choose.
