Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 1, 2026

Introduction

FasTrac Consulting LLC ("RediDraft™," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our RediDraft™ document assembly software (including the hosted SaaS Web edition) and visit our website at redidraft.com.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account or purchase our software, we collect:

  • Name and contact information (email address, phone number, mailing address)
  • Business or firm name
  • Billing and payment information
  • License and renewal details

What the Desktop Software Sends Us

The update check. The desktop editions contact us to ask whether an update is available and whether the license is current. That request carries the following, and nothing else:

  • The license ID
  • A device ID, so a license can be limited to a number of installations
  • The edition
  • The operating system
  • The processor architecture
  • The version currently installed

On Single User Desktop the license is verified on your own machine, so even this update check is optional and can be declined without affecting the software.

Diagnostic logs. When something goes wrong, the desktop software records the error message, a stack trace, and the application version in a log file on your own computer. RediDraft™ Classic writes to RediDraftErrors.log in your Documents folder; RediDraft™ One keeps its log under your user profile and can open it for you from inside the application. These logs stay on your machine. The usual way one reaches us is that you send it to support, which is often the fastest route to a fix.

Where the software is signed in to a hosted account, an error or activity record may also be written against that account on the server. Such records are technical: an error message, a stack trace, the application version, and the account the software was signed in as.

What none of this contains is your work. We do not collect analytics or feature-usage tracking from the desktop software, and no diagnostic record includes the content of the documents you assemble or the client information you enter into them.

Hosted Service Content (SaaS Web and RediDraft Cloud)

If your firm uses the hosted SaaS Web edition, or uses Classic connected to RediDraft Cloud rather than to your own server, the libraries and Form Volumes your firm creates are stored on our servers so we can provide the service. This content belongs to your firm. We store and process it solely to operate the service for you, as described in the note below. Assembled documents are not stored: on SaaS Web the service generates each document, delivers it to your machine, and then removes it from our servers, and on Classic every draft is assembled on your own machine, with no variable data sent to our servers at all.

Website Information

When you visit our website, we automatically collect:

  • IP address and browser type
  • Pages visited and time spent on pages
  • Referring website addresses
  • Device and operating system information

Important Note About Client Data

Editions on Your Own Infrastructure

On Classic connected to your own server, and on the Single User Desktop and Private Web editions, RediDraft™ runs entirely on your own computers and servers. All documents you create, client information you enter, and Form Volumes you develop remain on your local system or your chosen infrastructure. We do not have access to, collect, or store any of your client data or documents unless you explicitly share them with us for support purposes.

Classic with RediDraft Cloud

Classic is a desktop application. If your firm connects it to RediDraft Cloud rather than to your own server, your libraries and Form Volumes are stored in our hosted environment, but every draft is assembled on your own machine. No variable data (the client information you enter during assembly) is sent to our servers, and no drafts are ever stored there. The hosted library content receives the same confidentiality commitments described below.

SaaS Web Edition

On the hosted SaaS Web edition, your firm's libraries and Form Volumes are stored in our hosted environment so we can provide the service. Your assembled documents are not stored there: they are transitory. The service generates each document, delivers it to your machine, and removes it from our servers, so your finished work product lives with you, not in our cloud. The content we do store, we treat as your firm's confidential information: we access it only to operate, maintain, and support the service, or at your request. We never sell it, never mine it for marketing, and never use it to train any AI or machine-learning system. You can export your libraries and Form Volumes at any time while your license is active.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Process your software purchases and manage your licenses
  • Operate, maintain, back up, and support the hosted services (SaaS Web and RediDraft Cloud) for your firm
  • Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
  • Send important software updates and security notifications
  • Improve our software and develop new features
  • Ensure compliance with our licensing agreements
  • Send marketing communications (with your consent)
  • Comply with legal obligations

Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your information only in these circumstances:

  • Service Providers: With third parties who help us operate the business, such as payment processing. We keep this list as short as we can. Notably, our mail provider is not on it for contact-form submissions: when you write to us through the site, the notification that reaches our inbox says only that an inquiry arrived and where to read it. Your name, address, organization, phone number, and message are not in that email. They are stored on our own servers and read there.
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or governmental authority
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
  • Protection of Rights: To protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users
  • With Your Consent: When you explicitly agree to share information

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:

  • SSL/TLS encryption for data transmission
  • Secure data storage with access controls
  • Regular security assessments and updates
  • Employee training on data protection
  • Incident response procedures

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Typically:

  • Account information is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter
  • Transaction records are kept as required for tax and accounting purposes
  • Support communications are retained to improve our service
  • Marketing preferences are retained until you change them
  • Hosted SaaS Web content (libraries and Form Volumes) is retained while your license is active; if your license expires, your account is suspended and is subject to deletion after 90 days, after which the content cannot be recovered or exported
  • Assembled documents on SaaS Web are never retained: each document is generated, delivered to your machine, and removed from our servers
  • Classic libraries and Form Volumes stored in RediDraft Cloud are retained while your account is active; as with SaaS Web, an expired account is suspended and subject to deletion after 90 days; drafts and variable data never reach our servers, so there is nothing to retain

Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information (subject to legal requirements)
  • Opt-out: Unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time
  • Data Portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format

To exercise these rights, please contact us at privacy@redidraft.com.
