Jennifer, I would concur with you IF the illegals weren’t illegals.
Remember, among many other things, the illegals gets free medical and school, fully paid by the American citizens. Therefore, why in the world should they get the rebate?
Now, if the illegals want to become legal American citizens, do you think they’ll get free medical and education?

They don’t pay taxes like everyone else. Many of them live totally off-the-books and the only taxes they pay are the sales taxes on the goods and services they buy. Which is why the Fair Tax is a better way to collect taxes.
But, the reason they should not get the rebates is because they are criminals. For all the political correctness flowing around calling them “undocumented” this or that, they are law breakers pure and simple.
Now, I have compassion for the ones who are here because as a nation we did little or nothing to dissuade them from coming here. But, the simple and humane way to deal with this whole illegal immigrant problem is to remove the attractive nuisance that brought them here.
If it is impossible for them to make money, they will go home. It is happening in Arizona.
